Over 600 Respond to the Gospel during Cityfest Outreach in Oregon

More than 600 people made professions of faith during a massive outreach led by evangelist Andrew Palau and his wife, Wendy.

The event, titled Cityfest, was held in Klamath Falls, Oregon, and it was organized by fifty-three local churches on Memorial Day weekend.

“Nothing brings me greater joy than partnering with other faithful believers to lift up the name of Jesus in a community,” Andrew Palau said. “We have seen such a tremendous response to this Gospel message across the globe. And it was no different here in Klamath Falls.”

As reported by CBN News, over 600 people responded to the Gospel as they surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ. The outreach featured a number of activities, including dinners, prison and youth outreaches, and a concert with award-winning artists Newsboys, Ryan Stevenson, and Marisol Park.

“WHAT A NIGHT. Were you there for Ryan Stevenson’s homage to his hometown of Bonanza? Were you dancing along with Marisol as the main stage kicked off and singing along with the Newsboys to close out the night? Music can get to our hearts so powerfully—especially when we’re focused on God’s love,” Greater Klamath Falls Cityfest wrote on its Instagram page.

“So, spill the tea—what was the most meaningful or memorable part of the night for YOU? There’s no right or wrong answer—we’d just love to know what moved you!”

As stated in the event’s mission statement, CityFest is more than an event; it’s a “movement focused on encouraging, equipping, and empowering the Body of Christ to love and serve our region through united, long-term efforts focused on the area’s greatest needs.”

“The show of unity across 53 churches has been phenomenal,” said Doug Kirby, Klamath CityFest Co-Chair. “It’s caught the attention of the wider community who are recognizing the mighty force of a unified Church body. Revival has begun and has changed the trajectory of our Greater Klamath Region for all generations. CityFest is a once-in-a-lifetime experience – it’s challenged each one of us to be more like Jesus Christ.”
