Prestonwood Pregnancy Center in Dallas, Texas is celebrating saving 90,000 babies from abortion.
The pregnancy center is strategically placed across the street from a Planned Parenthood clinic and has been sharing the gospel to the Dallas Fort Worth area since 1991.
So far, they have served 100,000 patients and convinced 90,000 mothers not to abort their baby. Additionally, just last year, more than 400 people decided to put their faith in Jesus.
Leanne Jamieson, the executive director of Prestonwood Pregnancy Center, told CBN’s The Prayer Link, “When that young woman or couple walks in through the door of our center, we see it as a divine appointment. And in our experience, they also are often broken and looking for hope. They found themselves in this circumstance and it really often reveals other areas of their life that they are struggling in and we are really good listeners and we are really there to help them problem solve and navigate their situation. I tell our volunteers and our staff if you are a good listener then God is going to open that door.”
They pregnancy center was started by Prestonwood Baptist Church, and they have two different locations, according to Baptist Press. They opened a new location just months ago in 2020, and to shield the pregnancy center from negative liberal press, protests, and other challenges, they quietly did the renovations did not put the sign up until the weekend they opened. It has been used as a pregnancy ministry ever since.
“God was just providing for us to be there,” Jamieson said.
Prestonwood Baptist Church’s pastor, Jack Graham, said the new location is timely.
In an interview with Fox News, Graham reportedly stated “I truly believe this relocation is the greatest opportunity we’ve had in our 29 years of operating. To offer hope where it’s been lost, to offer a better choice that leads to life instead of death and to show grace and love at the very moment when many women are [at] their greatest need.”
