Bodie Kuljian, who recently left The Voice judges speechless and in tears after performing a rendition of Christian singer/songwriter Brandon Lake’s “Gratitude,” shared that he recently got to perform alongside Lake during Lake’s tour stop in Los Angeles.
Following his appearance on The Voice, Kuljian, whose stage name is simply Bodie, shared on Instagram that he received a text from Lake inviting him to his show in LA and asking him to “pop up” on stage with him when he sang Gratitude.
“So down dude! LMK when and where,” Bodie replied.
His post included clips of him singing on stage with Lake at YouTube Theater. Another clip showed the audience singing “Gratitude” back to the singers.
“Such a special night,” Bodie captioned the clips. “BIG love to Brandon and his team for having me out. ur (sic) an incredible leader and I look up to you greatly.”

Bodie, who is a California native, currently serves as a “worship coach” at Vanguard University ā his alma mater. He also serves as a worship leader at Oceans Church in Irvine, California.
He recently teased new music on his Instagram account, writing, “So stoked for u (sic) guys to hear what I’ve been working on. Had to give u (sic) a little teaser.”
As Christian Headlines previously reported, Bodie delivered a powerful performance of Lake’s “Gratitude” during the finale of the 22nd season of The Voice in December. Bodie came in second place.
At the time, he told judges Gwen Stefani, John Legend and Blake Shelton that he was dedicating the song to his three children. The judges were visibly moved by the performance.
“I’m choking on my tears over here,” Stefani said. “You have a superpower behind you. It’s a truth. I think it comes from your pure faith that you have…I can’t even speak right now. That was so beautiful.”
“Whatever you want to do, you have that in you,” Legend told Bodie.
Shelton, who served as Bodie’s coach on the show, told the singer he delivered “one of the most moving performances I’ve seen in a long time on this show.”
