Sadie Robertson Huff Shares Heartwarming Video of Her Baby Daughter Raising Her Hands, Worshipping God

Christian author and popular speaker Sadie Robertson Huff shared a heartwarming video over the weekend of her baby daughter raising her hands in worship during a church service.

Huff, the host of the Whoa That’s Good podcast, shared footage of her nine-month-old daughter, Honey, looking around in curiosity at surrounding church members raising their hands in worship.

“I watched her as she watched every hand go up around her, as people raised their hands in a posture of pouring out their heart to God,” the Duck Dynasty star wrote on Instagram. “I could see the curiosity in her eyes.”

According to Faithwire, Huff noted that Honey’s confidence grew further when she and her husband, Christian, raised their hands and ultimately, she raised her own.

“And from that point on, this girl worshipped. Hand up and legs kicking. By the end, she even had both hands up,” she added.

Huff used her baby daughter’s act of worship to stress the importance of worshipping God without shame.

“Sometimes it can feel intimidating to worship. It can seem confusing, even when you look around at a world so troubled, and you see people with hands lifted high trusting in God,” she wrote. “It can feel awkward to surrender and express yourself in such a way that gives glory to a king you can’t even see.”

But, she added, one cannot help but express themselves “in such a way that reflects your heart’s gratitude” when experiencing “a glimpse of the goodness of God.”

“You don’t care about what other people think. You worship because despite how troubled the world is, this king is your HOPE. And for that hope, my hands will be lifted high,” she concluded.

As of Tuesday morning, Huff’s post garnered over 400,000 likes on Instagram.

“Oh my word,” Jen Ledger, drummer of the Christian rock band Skillet, commented.

“This baby is about to make me go into a full-on Holy Ghost dance over here!” wrote author and speaker Priscilla Shirer. “WORSHIP HIM, Honey!!!!!!!”

Huff’s mother, Korie Robertson, also remarked on the video, “The best moment!!”

In September of 2021, Honey spent four days in the hospital during a bout with Respiratory Syncytial Virus.
